But the problem with this kind of pain… is that your body doesn’t always know when to turn off the pain signals.
And sometimes inflammatory pain happens when there isn’t a good reason, like a damaged joint, to require it.
For people with chronic inflammation and arthritis, for example, the pain signals just keep going. Your brain is constantly registering pain in your body, leaving you in misery.
There’s a disconnect between your pain signalling…
Which is firing constantly…
And the molecules that are supposed to be turning that pain signalling back off.
I call it a chronic signalling cycle.
Because your body is supposed to be releasing molecules that dampen the pain you’re feeling.
A molecule that tells your body:
‘Ok. There’s a cause for pain… but it’s time to turn down the signalling. We’re doing everything we can.’
But a lot of times… you don't have enough of that kind of molecule to deal with the amount of pain you’re in.
So you’re stuck with enormous amounts of pain, without any relief.
